This chapter really focus on the community of faculty within the schools and how important it is to be interactive with others. when creating communities it helps with increasing commitment to the mission, gives shared responsibility, a chance of more powerful learning and a big issue is decreasing teacher isolation. One way that can really help with decreasing teacher isolation is online communities. the online communities connect a person to a wider network of colleagues that share the same professional interests, give peer-to-peer professional development, and most importantly it helps them gain experience with social networking tools.
I feel like our group shows a great deal of peer-to-peer professional development of our projects. Today it is hard to meet up and go over project plans when we have all this great technology to help get the job done!
